Legend
The Streif & Hahnenkamm Race
Since 1931, the skiing elite has gathered every January for the Hahnenkamm Race in Kitzbühel. The highlight is the Streif – one of the most challenging downhill courses in the world.
3,312 m length of the course
860 m altitude difference (Start 1,665 m, Finish 805 m)
up to 85% gradient in the famous "Mausefalle"
Outside of race week, skilled skiers can tackle the Streif themselves – an unforgettable experience.
Off-Piste Adventures
Winter Hiking, Cross-Country Skiing & Tobogganing
Even without skis, the Kitzbühel winter is an experience: cleared winter hiking trails, groomed cross-country tracks, toboggan runs, and snowshoe tours lead through the snowy landscape.
In the old town, the Advent season brings a twinkling of lights and punch, while in January, major events like the Hahnenkamm Race and the Snow Polo World Cup create a special atmosphere.
